UFC Vegas 37 Smith vs Spann DFS Breakdown

Anthony Smith VS Ryan Spann

Main Event time! Here we go! Smith is an guy who will day in and day out give it his best shot all over the weight divisions. Smith is an polished fighter with his all around game. Spann has interesting loses against one name as in Alvey…..smh. I don‘t like Spann here and the wins are not the best to me. I want Smith who should out class Spann especially where he doesn’t have good cardio. I want Smith here who is more prepared for this fight.

Ion Cutelaba VS Devin Clark

The CO-Main event and I love this fight. Ion is an mental fighter who can hang with the best and get in his opponents head. Clark is an cardio machine and wants to stay in the fight with the hook punches that are powerful. I want Ion though who should prove himself here.

UFC Vegas 36 Breakdown!

DProdigy is back and he’s breaking down the latest UFC action. Follow him on Twitter for the latest in combat sports, daily fantasy, betting, and more.

Derek Brunson V Darren Till

The Main Event! Here we goooo! Till is wild and a great striker that it is hard to catch what he is doing. Brunson is slow on the feet but on a winning streak here. Brunson mentally needs to get in check in which Tilll will pick him apart if he catches him while Brunson doesn’t show up. Brunson is gonna go for takedowns but Till will tear him up…give me Till!

Tom Aspinall VS Sergey Spivak

Co-Main Event! Great heavyweight fight overall! Aspinall is light on the feet and has good grappling that is sneaky to me compared to his striking. Spivak is gonna go for the takedown which is his game while Tom is gonna finally have his true test on the grappling aspect. Great fight overall and tough fight here.

3 Up 3 Down UFC Vegas 25 Edition: Three Trending Up

Welcome back to “3 Up 3 Down” our version of power rankings! UFC Vegas 25 provided another night of spectacular fighters and fights. Here are the three trending up after Saturday.

Jiri Prochazka

Ladies and gentleman, we have a new #1 contender in the Light Heavyweight Division and if he continues on his path will become a superstar!  Former Rizing LHW champ Jiri Prochazka defeated former title contender Dominick Reyes in brutal fashion with the third ever spinning elbow in UFC History at 4:29 of Round 2.  Prochazka, who is from the Czech Republic, and touts Eastern Philosophies from Japan and China, fights in an awkward yet exciting standup fashion, throwing shots from unique angles and leaving himself vulnerable to shots as well.

The fight looked competitive at first, as Reyes was finding a home for his patented counter left straight, but as time continued, Prochazka’s pace and striking prowess seemed to overwhelm Reyes.  This makes for the second straight brutal KO of a former title challenger (he defeated Volkan Oezdemir via KO in his promotional debut).  With out question, he is the clear cut #1 contender and will await the victor of the Jan Blachowicz/Glover Teixeira fight.  At this point, I would favor Prochazka against either fighter.
