Two MMA legends are set to meet in the squared circle…to box each other!?!

Yup, that’s right. Anderson Silva and Tito Ortiz are set to box on the undercard of the Oscar De La Hoya-Vitor Belfort Triller boxing card on September 11.

Lopez-Kambosos Cancelled! Lopez Tests Positive for COVID-19

The highly anticipated lightweight title bout between Teofimo Lopez and George Kambosos Jr. has been cancelled according to Triller CEO Ryan Kavanagh. Kavanagh, speaking to The Athletic, broke the news that champion Teofimo Lopez has tested positive for COVID-19 and is presenting symptoms. Lopez suffers from asthma and COVID could present a larger problem for someone with the affliction.

The fight is tentatively rescheduled for August 14 adding to an already crowded month of boxing. Lopez-Kambosos is a significant investment for Triller who paid $6 million for the fight.

We wish Teofimo Lopez the best in his fight against COVID-19 and hope for a speedy return to the ring.

Jim Lampley Returns, Joins Triller Fight Club!

Triller is making an attempt at legitimacy on the boxing front or at least the boxing broadcasting front. The upstart promotion has hired veteran boxing announcer Jim Lampley to call their fights.

Lampley, the longtime voice of HBO BOXING, hasn’t called a professional fight since his former company shuttered their boxing promotion in 2018. He will call his first fight with Triller on June 19 when Teofimo Lopez tangles with George Kambosos, Jr,

Jake Paul Trolls Floyd Mayweather with a Tattoo after Donnybrook in Miami

We’ve got to admit that is very funny! In case you missed it, Floyd Mayweather and Jake Paul got into a bit of a skirmish during a presser for the Mayweather-Logan Paul exhibition. Jake Paul snatched Mayweather’s hat off of his head and caused the fracas. It was a wild scene.

Paul, being the dickhead that he his, decided to troll Mayweather even more. He’s changed his name on Twitter to read “Gotcha Hat,” he’s selling merch on his website, and he’s tattooed the hat on his leg.

Watch: Jake Paul-Floyd Mayweather Brawl in Miami

Jake Paul is quickly becoming the number one troll in the world. The celebrity boxer has taken aim at the world of MMA challenging anyone and everyone to a boxing match. He’s called Dana White a “douche bag” and now he’s stirred the ire of one of the greatest boxers of all-time, Floyd Mayweather.

Jake Paul confronted Mayweather while the latter was promoting his upcoming exhibition bout against Logan Paul, Jake’s brother. The kid just needs the spotlight.

It looks like Jake Paul is angling for his next “fight. ”

Triller is Going After Fans Who Illegally Streamed the Jake Paul Fight

Triller is offering a “one-time settlement” for viewers who illegally streamed the Jake Paul-Ben Askren fight. The company has claimed a loss of $100 million from over 2 million illegal streams of the event. They have filed suit in California looking for up to $150,000 in fines per streamer.

Below is Triller’s statement:

On April 23, 2021, Triller Fight Club filed suit in the United States District Court for the Central District of California against certain parties who participated in the unlawful sale, distribution, and/or viewing of the April 17, 2021 pay per view event known as Triller Fight Club: Jake Paul vs. Ben Askren. Under U.S.Copyright Law, each of those parties may be liable for up to $150,000 in fines, penalties, and damages for each occurrence of their unlawful acts. For a limited time ending June 01, 2021, those individuals who unlawfully viewed or displayed the event but were not otherwise involved in its illegal sale or distribution are eligible to receive a one-time settlement and release for their unlawful acts, subject to providing the information requested below and making payment in full of US$49.99 via this portal.

Triller has also vowed to go after the VPN providers. Triller’s head of piracy Matt St. Claire told Reuters the following:
