T.O. Wants to Fight Donovan McNabb…Yup, Really!

Pro Football Hall of Famer Terrell Owens just can’t seem to let go of his issues with former Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb. The two famously led the Eagles to an appearance in Super Bowl XXXIX where T.O., on one leg, nearly propelled the Eagles to victory. McNabb infamously threw up, allegedly, on a pivotal drive that cost the Eagles their first Lombardi.

The following off-season their “relationship” went to hell. T.O. performed a workout in his Moorestown, NJ home after being sent home from training camp and was ultimately banished from the team. The Hall of Famer blames McNabb for his failed tenure as an Eagle. He’s still bitter and now he wants to fight “5.”

Pacquiao’s Coach: Conor McGregor Doesn’t Deserve to Fight Manny

Conor McGregor is doing his best to stay relevant after suffering a broken leg and loss to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 on July 10. “The Notorious” has called out everyone and anyone including boxing legend Manny Pacquaio. In fact, McGregor has been angling for a fight with “Pacman” for a long time now.

But it doesn’t seem like it’s on Pacquaio’s radar. If you ask Pacquaio’s strength coach Justin Fortune he will tell you McGregor doesn’t deserve that fight.

“McGregor is not a boxer. It’s not his sport. Manny’s not an MMA guy, it’s not his sport. Put Manny against McGregor in MMA and McGregor destroys Manny. Manny against McGregor in boxing, Manny destroys him.

It’s unfair to match them like that. Conor’s record is 1-5 in his last six fights. Why fight McGregor, McGregor doesn’t deserve to fight Manny, why give McGregor the payday?

What gives him the right to fight Manny? McGregor has loss after loss after loss.

Fight Logan Paul for the money, big guy, deserves it. I like Logan Paul, he’s got some skills.

He’s not wrong here. McGregor’s star is fading and it’s fading rather quickly. Perhaps the best thing for McGregor to do is go fight one of the Paul brothers and take the money and run.

The highly anticipated lightweight title bout between Teofimo Lopez and George Kambosos Jr. has been cancelled according to Triller CEO Ryan Kavanagh. Kavanagh, speaking to The Athletic, broke the news that champion Teofimo Lopez has tested positive for COVID-19 and is presenting symptoms. Lopez suffers from asthma and COVID could present a larger problem for someone with the affliction.

The fight is tentatively rescheduled for August 14 adding to an already crowded month of boxing. Lopez-Kambosos is a significant investment for Triller who paid $6 million for the fight.

We wish Teofimo Lopez the best in his fight against COVID-19 and hope for a speedy return to the ring.
