Philadelphia Eagles Add a Camp Body, Sign DT Kobe Smith

According to NFL Insider Tom Pelissero, the Philadelphia Eagles are signing free agent defensive tackle Kobe Smith. The move puts the Eagles back to the 90-player max. The Birds’ were sitting at 89-players after (again) releasing Craig James last week.

The 24-year old signed with the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent after the 2020 NFL Draft. He spent the past two season on Tampa Bay’s practice squad. Smith has not played in an NFL game.

Smith’s signing shouldn’t be met with a ton of fanfare as he’s likely a training camp body.
