A B1G (pun intended) shoe is set to drop in the college sports media world. According to multiplereports, the Big Ten conference is poised to strike a media rights deal with Fox Sports, CBS, and NBC. The deal would end the conference’s 40-plus-year relationship with ESPN.
The deal is expected to be worth $1 BILLION annually.
The NBA is investigating the Philadelphia 76ers for tampering according to the intrepid Adrian Wojnarowski. The investigation centers around James Harden’s rejection of his player option for 2022-23. Harden recently re-signed with the Sixers on a team friendly two-year, $68.5 million deal.
The Harden deal allowed the Sixers to sign PJ Tucker, Danuel House, De’Anthony Melton, and Trevelin Queen. This has made the NBA upset.
