Bishop Sycamore Players Make Allegations of Forced Theft, Inhumane Living Conditions, and Attempted Murder

Holy shit, this story about Bishop Sycamore is spiraling out of control!

A quick recap, Bishop Sycamore is the “high school” that duped ESPN and some of the most prestigious football programs in the nation into believing they were an actual program.  They’re sthick was outed after they lost 58-0 to IMG Academy and ESPN announcers had no idea who the kids were. It turns out the school doesn’t really exist, some players were 19 or 20-years old, coach Roy Johnson had an arrest warrant for fraud, potential players were told they were going to be on Netflix and the list goes on.

The list really goes on and it now includes allegations of theft, inhumane living conditions, and potentially an attempted murder.

Complex, link here & here, spoke with multiple players about the allegations:

DOC’s DIAGNOSIS: Five Ways to “Fix” NXT

This is Part III of a “Doc’s Diagnosis” special on WWE’s NXT brand.

Part I: Vince is Making the Right Move with NXT | Part II: Blame Vince McMahon for NXT’s “Failure”

I have praised Vince McMahon for his decision to change the approach with NXT and blamed McMahon for putting NXT in its current situation.  Now it’s up to McMahon and his cronies to fix the “issues” created with NXT.  How do they do it?

Here’s my five-step plan to changing the NXT product for the better:

Keep Triple H, Shawn Michaels, and Road Dogg in Charge and Make them the Creative Heads of SmackDown!

That’s right DeGeneration-X just got themselves a promotion! Go back to Part I and there’s indisputable evidence that Triple H and Klique know what they’re doing when it comes to developing talent.  Give them the ability to run it right up the ladder to another WWE brand.  Raw is the “flagship” but SmackDown is the product that connects better with NXT talent from a wrestling perspective.  This will also allow for characters to continue to develop on the main roster.  In theory, there will be no fall off because the right hand knows what the left hand is doing.

DOC’s Diagnosis: Blame Vince McMahon for NXT’s “Failure”

What “went wrong” with NXT? Vince McMahon is what went wrong with NXT.

Let me rephrase that, Vince McMahon caring about what other wrestling companies were doing is what went wrong with NXT.

Let me expand on that for a minute.  Vince McMahon is on the record as saying the WWE’s competition is everywhere and anywhere.  God damn pal, WWE is an entrainment company not a rasslin’ company! But that’s not true at all.  They’re a wrestling company masquerading as an entertainment company.  They always were, always will be.

So back to the original premise, Vince McMahon caring about other WRESTLING promotions and not his own brands is what went wrong for NXT.

When the WWF was at its best, arguably the Hulkamania and the Attitude era’s, they didn’t care what anyone else was doing.  McMahon and company were so laser focused on their own brand that they didn’t care or even acknowledge what the AWA, WCCW, NWA, WCW, or whomever else was doing.  Seriously, you could watch WWF TV and not know other promotions were out there.

But what about when WWF acknowledged WCW and the nWo?!?

DOC’s DIAGNOSIS: WWE is Making the Right Move with NXT

This is part I of a “Doc’s Diagnosis” triple feature on WWE’s NXT brand.

Vince McMahon and the WWE are making the right move with their “restructuring” of NXT whether you or I like it.

Let me slow it down on second, I love NXT. As a diehard ECW purist and a ROH original (before Sinclair), the NXT brand immediately produced the joy of those two brands brought me when watching a pro wrestling program. Because they were just that, pro wrestling.

And there lies the problem for Vince McMahon and WWE…they’re not a pro wrestling company. They haven’t been one since October 19, 1999. That’s the day the McMahon’s went public and became a full on entertainment brand.

So back to the original statement, Vince McMahon and the WWE are making the right move with the “restructuring” of NXT.

Why? Because they need to DEVELOP their own stars just like they did before.

Stop yelling at the screen! Yes, they did. Here are a few:

Stipe Miocic Not the “Big Challenge” Jon Jones is Looking For

Jon Jones moved up to the heavyweight division and at some point he’s going to fight. If it were up to Dana White, and the fans, Jones would be touching gloves with heavyweight legend Stipe Miocic.

Miocic, despite wanting to regain the UFC Heavyweight strap, is in. Jones, well not so much. Miocic isn’t the “big one” that Jones wants or deserves.

At least that’s what Jones’ coach Mike Winklejohn says.

Wiklejohn appeared on Submission Radio and had the following to say about the potential bout:
