Ryan Kerrigan Announces His Retirement

Ryan Kerrigan has announced his retirement after 11-season in the NFL. The 33-year old played 10-seasons with Washington before playing the 2021-22 with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Kerrigan was drafted by the then Washington Redskins 16th overall in the 2011 NFL Draft. He played 156-games with Washington where he was a four-time Pro Bowl selection. Kerrigan notched 95.5 sacks while in DC.

He received a one-year, $3.5 million contract from the Philadelphia Eagles prior in May 2021. Kerrigan played in 16-games for the Birds’ and supported the defense with three total tackles. If you’re keeping record at home, that’s approximately $1,166,666.67 a tackle.
